The Neptune Navigate Digital Citizenship Platform Joins the CyberNut Family

Today we're excited to share some news: CyberNut has acquired the Neptune Navigate Digital Citizenship curriculum & platform.
CyberNut is delighted to be acquiring a fantastic product that has made a huge impact on students and schools across the nation. Neptune Navigate built a curriculum that districts and schools across the country trust to teach students how to navigate the digital world responsibly, safely, and confidently. With CyberNut's world-class cybersecurity experience behind it, we believe we can truly elevate the Neptune solution and take it to the next level.
Why we did this
CyberNut exists to keep K-12 school communities safe — we built our phishing simulation, security awareness training, and threat reporting platform exclusively for school districts, and it's the only thing we do.
But keeping schools safe online has never been just about staff inboxes. Students face the same digital world, and digital citizenship is the student-facing half of the same mission. Neptune Navigate has spent a decade proving what great student-facing digital citizenship education looks like. Bringing it into CyberNut unites both halves — and gives us the chance to invest in, update, and grow the curriculum for years to come.
What this means for Neptune Navigate partners
For the 2026–27 school year: very little changes, on purpose.
- Your program continues uninterrupted. Current partners keep their access and their implementation exactly as planned.
- The Neptune Navigate Partner Success Team is handling rostering and launch for 26/27. The people you already know are running your back-to-school setup, same as always. Contact: Ann Terese, annterese@neptunenow.com
- Both teams are working together daily to make the operational transition invisible to you. That's the bar we've set.
- When your term comes up for renewal, CyberNut handles it directly. No middle steps — reach us anytime at neptune@cybernut.com.
Want to bring Neptune Navigate to your students?
If your school or district previously used the curriculum — or you've been looking for the right digital citizenship solution — this is a great moment to start. Email Ann Terese at annterese@neptunenow.com and we'll get you a quote and a fast path to getting your students on board.
What's ahead
We're deliberately keeping this transition quiet and steady through back-to-school season — the priority right now is a flawless 26/27 launch for existing partners, not splashy changes.
This coming fall, we look forward to revealing what's next for the curriculum under CyberNut: fresh content, modern interactive capabilities, and a closer alignment between student digital citizenship and the student phishing and security training districts already implement with us. If you would like to receive these updates directly as they drop, reach out or subscribe to our newsletter here.

To the Neptune Navigate team: thank you for building something worth continuing, and for working alongside us to hand it off with care. To their partners: welcome. We're glad you're here.
