VigilAigent, a managed security services provider and subsidiary of Tego Cyber Inc. (OTCID: TGCB), and Dependable Solutions, a Wisconsin-based managed service provider, announced an expanded partnership to strengthen cybersecurity protections for K-12 school systems across Wisconsin.

Under the initiative, Dependable Solutions will deploy VigilAigent’s OmniViz+ platform across 10 school districts, with the goal of safeguarding approximately 18,000 students, teachers, and staff. The companies said the rollout is designed to deliver enterprise-grade security capabilities for schools facing persistent threats such as ransomware, phishing, and data breaches—incidents that can interrupt instruction and expose sensitive student and employee information.

The OmniViz+ offering is positioned as an “agentic AI-powered” security platform, described in the announcement as a NeXDR solution built to improve visibility, detection, behavioral analysis, and response while minimizing added operational burden for school IT teams. The companies also emphasized that the service is backed by U.S.-based security operations and human-in-the-loop oversight, and that the program is structured to align with commonly used K-12 grant funding to help districts address security needs despite budget limitations and staffing shortages.

In prepared statements, Dependable Solutions President Joe Ruskey framed the effort as protecting students, educators, and community trust, while VigilAigent Chief Revenue Officer Mark Porter highlighted the challenges schools face with constrained resources and the need for affordable, high-quality protection that supports compliance and day-to-day learning continuity.
